With the addition of this accomplished senior executive, vector8 is poised to further advance its mission of helping ambitious enterprises unlock the true value of AI through innovative human-machine collaboration.

In his new role, Daplyn will collaborate closely with vector8's seasoned team members, driving the company towards its goal of becoming the foremost pure-play AI transformation partner in Europe. vector8 with its strong emphasis on industries such as banking, insurance, and retail, and a proven track record of excellence in AI delivery, Chris will spearhead the go-to-market strategy and ensure that vector8 clients maximize their AI transformation journeys, enabling them to outpace the competition with effective and scalable solutions.

Daplyn will also lead vector8’s strategic expansion into the UK market later in 2024, a key element of the company's growth strategy.

Bringing extensive experience from overseeing some of the UK and Europe’s most prominent digital agencies, Daplyn's impressive career includes leading data-driven CRM programs and loyalty strategies for global clients at Wunderman UK, a WPP company (now VML), where he was named Managing Director in 2015. Under his leadership, the agency achieved significant growth, expanded its CX and data capabilities, and was awarded Agency of the Year.

In 2017, Daplyn became the UK Chief Executive of WPP’s POSSIBLE, later merging it with Mirum to create Mirum Europe, where he served as European CEO. Most recently, he was the Managing Director of North Western Europe for Valtech, an experience innovation company, overseeing a client portfolio that included easyJet, The Very Group, Ocado, Kingfisher Group, Specsavers, National Trust, Ericsson, and the UK Government.

As a proven client leader, Daplyn is expected to unlock new growth opportunities for vector8 and help the business scale across Europe to become the premier partner for AI-led transformation.
